Meet the Author

Jean Rattigan-Rohr, Ph.D., is a Vice President and Professor Emerita who finds joy in gardening, storytelling, and poetry. She brings the musicality of poetry into her storytelling, crafting heartfelt tales that resonate with readers of all ages. Her children’s picture book series follows Guely, a spirited child with a neuromotor disorder, as he explores the world with his Mama and his trusty wheelchair, “Guely-Go.” Written in an authentic voice that highlights agency over limitation, her stories gently affirm the power of patience, compromise, and trust.
